Welcome to NovelLocket, a digital reading service operated by NOVALITH LIMITED ("we," "us," or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NovelLocket (the "App" or "Service"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before continuing.

1. Our Service

NovelLocket provides digital novels, stories, reading tools, and related features.

You can discover stories, browse different genres, read available chapters, and save your favorites to your Library.

Some content requires a VIP subscription. We may update, add, or remove content and features as the Service develops.

2. Accounts and Guest Access

You may use certain features without registering an account.

To create an account, you provide a username and password during registration. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activities under your account.

Signed-in users may synchronize supported Library items, reading progress, and VIP status across supported devices.

Guest reading information may be stored locally and could be lost if the App is removed or its data is cleared.

You may delete your registered account through the App. Instructions are available at:

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.

3. VIP Subscriptions

NovelLocket offers VIP access through auto-renewable subscriptions, including weekly and yearly plans.

The price, billing period, and included benefits are displayed before purchase.

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your Apple Account will be charged when you confirm a purchase and at subsequent renewals.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next renewal.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account settings. Canceling stops future renewals, while paid access generally continues until the current subscription period ends.

Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled according to Apple's policies and applicable law.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Novels, chapters, covers, illustrations, and other materials available through NovelLocket belong to NOVALITH LIMITED or their respective rights holders.

We may modify, replace, restrict, or remove content due to licensing, legal, editorial, or operational requirements.

Access to digital content does not grant ownership or copyright rights.

You may use the content for personal reading only. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, publication, or commercial use is prohibited.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use NovelLocket lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

• Access another user's account without permission
• Copy, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content
• Bypass subscription requirements or security measures
• Use bots, scraping tools, or unauthorized automated systems
• Interfere with the App, servers, or network operations
• Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access
• Abuse purchases, refunds, or account features
• Violate intellectual property rights or applicable laws

We may investigate misuse and take reasonable steps to protect the Service.

6. Account Restrictions

We may suspend or terminate access when an account is involved in fraud, security threats, serious misuse, or violations of these Terms.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Immediate restrictions may be applied when necessary to protect users, the Service, or legal rights.

7. Availability and Updates

We work to keep NovelLocket available and functioning properly.

However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, system updates, network conditions, or technical issues.

We may change supported features, available content, and service functionality over time.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NOVALITH LIMITED is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses related to the use of NovelLocket.

Where legally permitted, our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid through NovelLocket during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to our Service, operations, or legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published through the App or our website, with a revised effective date.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your location.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first to seek a reasonable resolution.

Unresolved disputes may be submitted to the courts of Hong Kong unless applicable law provides otherwise.

12. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective.

Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Subscription Services Agreement, govern your use of NovelLocket.
